According to Buddha

To try to practice and to try not to practice are both practice. I would rather say listen, be attentive, and see that you really are not attentive. When you see in certain moments in daily life that you are not attentive, in those moments you are attentive. Then see how you function. That is very important. Be completely objective. Don’t judge, compare, criticize, evaluate. Become more and more accustomed to listening. Listen to your body, without judging, without reference – just listen. Listen to all the situations in daily life. Listen from the whole mind, not from a mind divided by positive and negative. Look from the whole, the global.

Most people live on the surface of life. But it is by deep-sea diving in the ocean of thought that you receive the pearls of knowledge.

gonna stand my ground and i won’t back down

there is fiction in the space between
the lines on your page of memories
write it down but it doesn’t mean
you’re not just telling stories
there is fiction in the space between
you and me
you and everybody
give us all what we need
give us one more sad sordid story
but in the fiction of the space between
sometimes a lie is the best thing

According to Buddha

No real difference is present among creatures: all are products of Prakriti and all are sustained by the same Underlying Divinity. Their seeming diversity is rooted in the unity of One Mind.

the horses are coming
so you better run

a hundred miles is not too far
unless you have to walk
life, it seems, is like a dream
until you have to talk
don’t wonder for a moment
if you win or lose
just stop and stay, and watch the day
and listen to these blues

According to Buddha

Let us teach real joy to men. Many have unlearned it. Life, though full of woe, holds also sources of happiness and joy, unknown to most. Let us teach people to seek and to find real joy within themselves and to rejoice with the joy of others. Let us teach them to unfold their joy to ever sublimer heights!

According to Buddha

Just as fog is dispelled by the strength of the sun
and is dispelled no other way,
preconception is cleared by the strength of realization.
There’s no other way of clearing preconceptions.
Experience them as baseless dreams.
Experience them as ephemeral bubbles.
Experience them as insubstantial rainbows.
Experience them as indivisible space.
