According to Buddha

There are two kinds of happiness, mental happiness, and outer happiness. Outer happiness comes through meeting with an external object and is transitory. Mental happiness comes about through meditation and positive thought, it is stable and does not cause suffering. One cannot be happy if one does not have mental happiness, no matter how abundant the   external sources of outer happiness are, but if one is truly happy in one’s mind, then one is unaffected by outer problems.

According to Buddha

The thing is that this life is so precious and mysterious, I don’t know what to say about it most of the time. Words are like birds, passing through the trackless sky. The dog barking, the sound of the purling stream, the wind among the weeping willow trees: how are these not right off the tongue of the Buddha?

According to Buddha

The consciousness flowing with the life force through the senses of sight, hearing, smell, taste, and touch makes human conscious of matter.  But by meditation when consciousness and life force are withdrawn from the five senses, the astral nature of the life force, along with the consciousness and other aroused divine forces in the spinal centers, look like rivers of light flowing upward toward the ocean of light of spirit in the brain.

be on my side, i’ll be on your side, baby
there is no reason for you to hide
it’s so hard for me, staying here all alone
when you could be taking me for a ride

down by the river
i shot my baby
down by the river

Of the three ways to expand human consciousness into cosmic consciousness, the first is the social way, wherein you shut out self and live for all. Be loyal to your friends, and feel love for everyone.

i know you’ll never bring me flowers
flowers they will only die
and though we’ll never take a shower together
i know you’ll never make me cry

you never argue, you don’t even talk
and i like the way you let me lead you
when we go outside and walk

will you really be my only man of the hour?

well, it’s not far down to paradise, at least it’s not for me
and if the wind is right you can sail away and find tranquility
oh, the canvas can do miracles, just you wait and see.
believe me.
it’s not far to never-never land, no reason to pretend
and if the wind is right you can find the joy of innocence again
oh, the canvas can do miracles, just you wait and see.
believe me.
