According to Buddha
Your end, which is endless, is as a snowflake dissolving in the pure air.

will you remember the flowers in my hand?
will you remember my hair?
will you remember the future we planned?
the world is not waiting out there.
will you remember?
will you recall?
will you remember?

According to Buddha
It is as if we are continually chasing mirages, only to be disappointed when they do not give us the satisfaction we had hoped for.

listen close, as close as i am to you
like the bell of liberty, i’ll ring a sound that’s true
and days go by and seasons too
in time our love may digress with the words we can renew
oh, i’ll tell you that i
i love you by and by
i don’t know if i’d survive
without a friend like you in my life

If you look deeply into the palm of your hand, you will see your parents and all generations of your ancestors. All of them are alive in this moment. Each is present in your body. You are the continuation of each of these people.

According to Buddha
Narrow minds devoid of imagination. Intolerance, theories cut off from reality, empty terminology, usurped ideals, inflexible systems. Those are the things that really frighten me.

i found out every trick in the book
and that’s there’s only one way to get things done
i found out the only way to the top
is looking out for number one
i mean you, keep looking out for number one
that’s us, keep looking out for number one
that’s me, i’m looking out for number one

According to Buddha
On a trail atop White-Crane’s green cliffs,
My recluse friend’s home in solitude,
Step and courtyard empty; water and rock,
Forest and creek free of axe and fish trap.
Months and years perfect old pines here.
Wind and frost keep bitter bamboo sparse.
Gazing deep, ancestral ways my own again…

give it time and we wonder why do what we can laugh and we cry
and we sleep in your dust because we’ve seen this all before
culture fades with tears and grace leaving us stunned hollow with shame
we have seen this all seen this all before
many tribes of a modern kind doing brand new work same spirit by side
joining hearts and hands and ancestral twine ancestral twine
slowly it fades
slowly we fade
spirit bird she creaks and groans she knows she has, seen this all before she has, seen this all before…

You must concentrate upon and consecrate yourself wholly to each day, as though a fire were raging in your hair.

it’s a winter’s day and i know for certain

Be aware of the contact between your feet and the Earth. Walk as if you are kissing the Earth with your feet. We have caused a lot of damage to the Earth. Now it is time for us to take good care of her. We bring our peace and calm to the surface of the Earth and share the lesson of love. We walk in that spirit.

“come in” she said
“i’ll give you shelter from the storm“.

According to Buddha
Letting go gives us freedom, and freedom is the only condition for happiness. If, in our heart, we still cling to anything – anger, anxiety, or possessions – we cannot be free.

hyvyyden varjo peittää kyyneleen,
löytäneen luo vie askeleen.
rauha saa, kehto uneen tuudittaa.
toivo jää, tie rakkauteen.
tie syvään vaupauteen.
