According to Buddha
One should forgive, under any injury. It hath been said that the continuation of the species is due to human’s being forgiving. Forgiveness is holiness; by forgiveness the universe is held together. Forgiveness is the might of the mighty; forgiveness is sacrifice; forgiveness is quiet of mind. Forgiveness and gentleness are the qualities of the self-possessed. They represent eternal virtue.

the tree don’t care what the little bird sings
we go down with the dew in the morning
the trees don’t know what the little bird brings
we go down with the dew in the morning
and we breathe it in
there is no need to forgive

maybe somewhere down the road aways (end of the line)
you’ll think of me, wonder where i am these days (end of the line)
maybe somewhere down the road when somebody plays (end of the line)
purple haze
well it’s all right, even when push comes to shove
well it’s all right, if you got someone to love
well it’s all right, everything’ll work out fine
well it’s all right, we’re going to the end of the line

it didn’t feel like sunday
didn’t feel like june
when he met his silent partner in that lonely corner room
that over looked the marquee
of the plaza all-adult
and he was not looking for romance
just someone he could trust

According to Buddha
Untrained warriors are soon killed on the battlefield; so also persons untrained in the art of preserving their inner peace are quickly riddled by the bullets of worry and restlessness in active life…The schools should educate young students in this art, and in how to develop calmness and concentration.

standing, on the edge of forever,
at the start of whatever,
shouting love at the world.
back then, we were like cavemen,
but we map the moon and the stars,
then we forgave them.
we will meet you where the lights are,
the defenders, of the faith we are.

According to Buddha
In time you will surely behold the inner light, for it is ever there, shining in your forehead. Just as all human beings have eyes, so does everyone have this spiritual eye within his forehead. It awaits only his discovery in deep concentration within.

without going out of your door,
you can know all things on earth
without looking out of your window,
you can know the ways of heaven.
the farther one travels
the less one knows
the less one really knows.

According to Buddha
I am a spark from the Infinite.
I am not flesh and bones.
I am light.

the birds they sang
at the break of day
start again
i heard them say
don’t dwell on what
has passed away
or what is yet to be.
ah the wars they will
be fought again
the holy dove
she will be caught again
bought and sold
and bought again
the dove is never free.
ring the bells that still can ring
forget your perfect offering
there is a crack in everything
that’s how the light gets in.

According to Buddha
Am I the ocean? It is too small, A dream dewdrop on the azure blades of space. Am I the sky? It is too small, A lake in the bosom of eternity. Am I eternity? It is too small, Framed in a name. In the vast region of namelessness I love to dwell, Beyond limits of dreams, names, conceptions. I am what I am always — In the ever-present past, In the ever-present future, In the ever-present now.

here’s what we know
we don’t know what we’ve got or if we’ve got it
and what we had, we already forgot it
the race is evidently to the bottom
we don’t, we don’t, we don’t know what to say
don’t know what it was but we want it back

According to Buddha
During the effort of being one-pointed, the yogi will be unsuccessful unless he can by concentration withdraw his attention from the activities of the life force in the various senses. Otherwise, he will be constantly distracted by restless thoughts—the mental concepts formed from sensory stimuli by the “fanciful faculty” of feeling.

don’t forget, don’t forget
mmhmm
that i believe in you
should you forget, should you forget
let me remind you
that i am behind you
