Seek your friends of past incarnations in order that you may continue your friendship in this life and perfect it into divine friendship. One lifetime is not always sufficient to achieve such perfection.
follow, follow the sun
and which way the wind blows
when this day is done
breathe, breathe in the air
set your intentions
dream with care
tomorrow’s a new day for everyone
a brand new moon and brand new sun
In meditation, you must go beyond thought. As long as you are busy thinking, you are in your rational mind, on the conscious plane. When you sleep and dream, you are on the subconscious plane, and in your astral body. And when your mind is fully withdrawn in superconsciousness, it becomes centered in the bliss of the spine. You are then in your ideational, or causal, body. That is the level of the soul’s existence.
walk me out in the morning dew, my honey
walk me out in the morning dew today
i can’t walk you out in the morning dew, my honey
i can’t walk you out in the morning dew today
where have all the people gone, my honey?
where have all the people gone today?
there’s no need for you to be worried about all those people
you don’t never see those people anyway
i guess it doesn’t matter anyway
i guess it doesn’t matter anyway
i guess it doesn’t matter anyway
i guess it doesn’t matter anyway
Life has a bright side and a dark side, for the world of relativity is composed of light and shadows. If you permit your thoughts to dwell on evil, you yourself will become ugly. Look only for the good in everything so you absorb the quality of beauty.
twenty-five years ago they spoke out and they broke out
of recession and oppression and together they toked
and they folked out with guitars around a bonfire
just singin’ and clappin’ man what the hell happened
then some were spellbound some were hellbound
some they fell down and some got back up and
fought back ‘gainst the melt down
and their kids were hippie chicks all hypocrites
because fashion is smashin’ the true meaning of it
you might as well be walkin’ on the sun you might as well be walkin’ on the sun
Eliminate what doesn’t matter to make more room for what does.
in the lonely financial zone by the sea
i have walked under moon and stars
skyscrapers shown in their dark majesty
in this otherworldly land of ours i’ve walked by the buildings
i’ve walked by the malls
i’ve walked by the skyscrapers
lonely and dark
Do not live in the world, In distraction and false dreams. Outside the dharma. Arise and watch. Follow the way joyfully, Through this world and beyond…
so i tried to erase it
but the ink bled right through
almost drove myself crazy
when these words led to you
and all these useless dreams of living alone like a dogless bone…
